Exhibition Statement:
Every act of growth begins somewhere in the darkness;
Before a seed breaks through the soil, it finds its path within the most hidden layers of the earth. Water makes its way through stone, branches sprout anew after the cold season, and light enters through the narrowest of crevices.
Not enough to illuminate everything, perhaps, but enough to ensure that darkness does not encompass the entire world.
“Light Finds Its Way” speaks to this very possibility—to the relationship between humanity and nature, to light, and to the desire for a new beginning. In these works, water, plants, landscapes, color, and light serve as signs of that quiet force which, amidst decay, carves a path toward life. In an era defined by haste and anxiety, the ‘Ribbon Tehran’ art nights invite us to pause—
to behold that which still grows in quiet,
and to look toward a light that, however faint,
is enough to reveal the path and keep us moving forward.
